Account & Workspace
How do I create a workspace?
Sign up at the Assumetr dashboard. Your first workspace is created automatically during registration. You can configure your workspace name and invite team members from Organization Settings.
How do I invite users to my workspace?
Navigate to Organization Settings → Users and click Invite User. Enter the user's email and select a role. See the Workspace Admin Guide for details on available roles.
How do I add my compliance auditor to my workspace?
- Navigate to Organization Settings → Users.
- Click Invite User.
- Select the Auditor role for read-only access to evidence and settings.
Can I be part of multiple workspaces?
Each Assumetr account belongs to one workspace. If you need access to multiple workspaces, use separate email addresses.
Plans & Quotas
What is the difference between the Free and Pro plans?
The Free Plan allows you to monitor 1 site and generate up to 3 evidence packets per month. It includes the full suite of privacy controls and destinations.
The Pro Plan ($299/month) increases these limits to 5 sites and unlimited evidence packets, plus priority support.

What happens if my site exceeds the event quota?
We believe in "no surprises" billing. If your site traffic spikes and you exceed your monthly event quota, Assumetr will continue to ingest and route your data during a grace period. You will receive a notification alerting you to upgrade your plan. We will never drop your site's telemetry unannounced.
How do I upgrade my plan?
Navigate to Organization Settings → Plan and click Upgrade. See Billing & Plans → Upgrading.
What happens if I cancel my Pro plan?
Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to Free plan limits. All data and evidence history is preserved.
Evidence & Audit
How do I share my evidence with an auditor?
You have two options:
- Download — Download the
.ziparchive containing the signed JSON and PDF from the dashboard and email it to your auditor. - Share Link — Generate a secure, time-limited share link directly from the dashboard. Your auditor can view the evidence packet without creating an Assumetr account.
What is an evidence packet?
An evidence packet is a cryptographically signed record that proves what data your site was collecting, what privacy controls were enforced, and which destinations received data — all during a specific time period. See Evidence Packets for details.
How does my auditor verify the signature?
Each evidence packet includes an Ed25519 digital signature. Your auditor can verify it independently using the public key included in the packet. The Evidence Packets guide explains the verification process step by step.
Privacy & Data
Does Assumetr use cookies?
No. By default, the Assumetr JavaScript snippet does not use cookies or localStorage. It observes events natively and relies entirely on your server-side privacy controls.
Where is my data stored?
Assumetr stores data in secured, encrypted cloud infrastructure. For specific data residency requirements, enterprise customers can request dedicated deployments in EU or US regions. See Data Security & Residency.
How do I delete my data?
Contact support at support@assumetr.com to request data deletion. Enterprise customers can use their dedicated account channels.
API & Integration
Which API endpoints are available?
Only public-preview endpoints are available for external use. See the API Reference for the full list of supported routes, request/response schemas, and examples.
How do I authenticate API requests?
All API requests require a valid JWT token. See the API Reference → Authentication for details on obtaining and using tokens.
Can I automate evidence generation via the API?
Yes. The public API includes endpoints for triggering evidence exports and retrieving share links programmatically. See the API Reference.
Enterprise & Self-Hosting
Can I self-host Assumetr?
Assumetr is primarily a managed cloud service to ensure the independent integrity of cryptographic evidence. Enterprise customers with strict data residency requirements can request dedicated private cloud deployments or on-premise appliances. Contact enterprise@assumetr.com for details.
Do you offer SOC 2 Type II or HIPAA BAA?
Enterprise plans can include custom compliance certifications. Contact sales@assumetr.com to discuss your requirements.
